Thanks for the compliment.
I normally try and get 3/4 turn if using copper olives. Brass ones are much harder to compress, so you might only get half a turn on them- hence I always use copper olives.

@ultimatehandyman Thanks for the excellent tutorials, they are the best on the internet, not just Youtube. Just a question regarding tightening the nuts. Do you use 3/4 turn on all nuts or does it depend on the type of olive being used? Thanks in advance.

No, you don't need PTFE tape, but copper olives should be used instead of brass olives as they are easier to compress.

Can you tell me if the insert for the 15mm pipe is the same as the Irish 1/2 inch pipe
