I made a rocket stove this week from a few discarded metal food cans. Two of the really big ones, two slightly smaller, and two just a little smaller than that. With just 6 sticks of fuel, I boiled water in under 5 minutes. AWESOME

@MagickalMari Thank you for your comment. Yes, new creations are indeed great! I'm into anything DIY that works as good or better then anything I can buy and saves me money. Plus the joy I get from designing or making things that work is an added benefit!

this IS a rocket stove, people are just morons. nice build. Also, just put a grill on the top and then you can use whatever cooking utensil you want.

@osscouter I agree. It's not meant to be carried around and moved a lot. It's an alternative cooking setup or an additional stove. If you're cooking with gas or electricity and the power goes out, you can still cook with this.
