The Meibomian glands, in the lids of the eye, secrete oils that prevent the premature evaporation of tears. These glands can become plugged, leading to inflammation and bacterial infiltration that can cause poor vision, pain, redness and swollen eyelids associated with dry eye.

What is Light Impulse Therapy for Dry Eye?
