This is a kind of paralell or response, and reminds me, of the "Rhapsody in blue", only, and wonderfully, with the Asian touch. It reflects and almost depict, (in front of my eyes) the hectic but progressive and dreaming Asia, the growing economical, cultural and intellectutual Asia. But it is also a sore and emotional expression. Love Joe Hisaishi's compositions! This piece just made me order an Erhu! One day I'll see him live, someway someday.

Thanks Joe, for making such splendid music!
