Today Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats launched our fairer tax policy that will be at the heart of the partys manifesto for the General Election.

Under the Liberal Democrats the income tax threshold would be raised to £10,000, meaning most taxpayers would see their income tax bills cut by £700. Find out more here: http://j.mp/FairTaxes

  • I going to vote Disney Party, they are more real :)

  • no more broken promises please mre for Clegg, wasnt that in your advert for why we should vote for the lib dems.

  • The more I get to hear about these politicians the less I start to believe what they say. They cannot be trusted. It is a game to them. They waltz in and take over and they make decisions which can ruin people's lives, and is doing. They are like bankers, people of virtually zero empathy.

  • He is a man who lied in order to get elected. He is not even capable of feeling shame as a result of his false promises. He betrayed his party and those who voted for him. In years to come, he will be remembered as an example of a man who lied in order to get elected.

  • @neil2k2 lol

  • TAX on sales not the 200 year old income tax scheam, lets move on into the 21st century with a tax system that is simple requires no translation by accountants and allows every one to pay regardless of status, pays us our gross salary and tax's us on what we buy.

Allowing for different tax rates on different goods and collected at the till. So no more VAT, Income Tax, Inheritance Tax, Corporation Tax or capital gains Tax, no more local land Tax.

  • @neil2k2

    How do you feel now?

    Hahahahahha.
