Every scene of Heat is a masterpiece, and this one is the most perfect scene of the most perfect movie. We can feel each character don't want to kill or do anything wrong, but they have to because it's their only way of life. Cops (Pacino) are not so different from gangsters (De Niro). I never saw such a tragedy in a gangster movie because every character is human and not functional. This scene, and the restaurant scene are one of the most dramatic scene of the 90's.

@CorleoneMobfamily 20 times!!! I've seen the ending so many times I've lost count. I was bless to get the soundtrack and it's my favorite cd to this day, so many gifted and talented artist like dead can dance and moby. I love every musical piece on this soundtrack. I'm black and I wish this type of music was promoted in the african american/black community. But then I realize it is not in the best interest of illuminati hollywood to promote this type of music in our community.

foget about best movie ever with the best ending

Goosebumps every time.
The greatest ending of any film ever. In another life, these two characters could have been best friends. However due to their status on opposite sides of the law, it just wasn't possible. One of the greatest American film masterpieces of all time

I have never been more angry in my life than the day i was watching Heat on TNT, and they cut out the very last shot, which is the best part of the movie. They just showed McCauley dying and then fade to black. I was watching it with my parents in my living room and i dont think ive ever sworn at the TV so much in my life. Unless you count when Im watching the Lions.
