Four-fingered salute, Bernardine...the Weather Underground's show of awe and respect for 'pig-hating Charlie Manson' and his hippies for knifing and stabbing (a fork was found in Sharon Tate's 9 month pregnant belly) innocent people in 1969. They were all slaughtered to death. Manson told his followers to use the victim's blood to smear on the walls such nicities as, "Death to Pigs", "Rise", "Kill the Pigs"...and the W.U. went public to 'salute' Manson's call to duty to kill "Pigs". @cldump What vile crap. What part of freedom of speech don't you get? As for their "crimes" of 40 years ago, they were not able to be sentenced because the REAL criminals were the FBI pigs who broke FAR more laws, and the greatest pig of all, Nixon. To worry about bombs which killed NOBODY but ignore the hundreds of thousands we murdered in the war is crazy.
And even if they HAD killed people, killing THEM doesn't bring anyone back to life. Capital punishment is always wrong.

@Boris82much No, YOU have authored grandiose lies, YOU have made up absolute shit, drastically altered what REALLY was said. NO, they did not EVER advocate killing peoples' parents. Ever. Yes, they DID plant bombs, and it was the right thing to do, given what they were trying to stop, which you've NEVER admitted was wrong, the murder of hundreds of thousands in Vietnam. Dorhn NEVER said Manson was "cool", that is a lie. NOBODY did. YOU are the one lying.

What's happened is simple--people lied about what was said, and represented. They did NOT salute or encourage Manson NEVER told people to kill their parents. Yes, bombs were planted-ask napalm victims in Vietnam how much sympathy that earns. They ABSOLUTELY DID NOT say they wished they'd planted more bombs. Ever.

@Boris82much If it wasn't Ayers, Dohrn and several members of the W.U. that posed for a photo shoot to salute Manson, their arms raised with four fingers at attention in honor of the fork used in the killing of one the victims, then who were they??? I'll betcha you justify to yourself that it was the PIG FBI causing the poor W.U. all those problems. How totalitarian of you, prisoner. So, what is it? Was Bill lying about the W.U.'S glory days or WHAT? Lots of TV interviews and photos on file.
