There is a theory that that is the reason but I would be doubtful. most cats kneed and they do it to soft surfaces to make them more comfortable for them to sleep on.

that said there is no hard evidence to back the claims either way. If only I'd gotten zoology in college it would make a good dissertation topic...

its a hard topic to tuch on cos i have a kittin which dosent do it, but the cat we taken in does it regulary, ive serched for why she does and thats the only thing that has come up for it
