Rachel Maddow demystifies the Republican candidates' fascination with all things Ronald Reagan. Why voters should run screaming if a poltergeist Gipper is ressurected in 2008.

  • First of all it's Reagan, not Reagen. Second, he was a republican, not a democrat. He was also a president who got us invoved in the disasterous oil for food program which actually did arm Saddam Hussien. He was also a champion of big business and billionaire corporations by removing all forms of regulation and allowing for our middle-class to further deteriorate.

  • "The Republican party has this campy fixation with all things Ronald Reagan. It's almost gay." Lol.

  • When was the last time a Democratic debate was held at the Roosevelt mansion in Hyde Park???

  • Looney ol Madcow, spewing her hate, like most liberals

  • haha

  • She has brains. So I doubt if anyone could "program" her as anything. And given that she used to work as a political activist for HIV positive inmates, I'd say she has loads of empathy for people no one else cares about.

  • She has no empathy and could be reprogrammed as a neo con with ease.

  • I find it fascinating that all negative responses to Rachel Maddow deal with her appearance, her sexuality or both. It's almost like the attackers don't have anything real to say about her statements... Like they find it hard to rebut them, or something...

  • lol
