Of all the amazing things mankind has created, the automobile, and specifically ones like the AMV12, tops the list. The fantastic combination of artistic beauty and brilliant engineering make it the perfect expression of what it is to be human. Thats because the arts and engineering are really what we do as humans that makes us different from all the other animals. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is humans at their best. It's ashame that, for all the reasons Clarkson said, we get in our own way.
