  • It's الحلوى not الحلوة. Candy=الحلوى. Beautiful=الحلوة

  • Great !!! keep teaching me ARABIC

  • @smartguyisback1

Sorry, by "sweet" I meant the adjective not the noun as the latter translates to "حلوى" as well which is a synonym to "candy" in a way.

  • Hello there.

Nice and recommendable effort my friend.

Actually it should be حلوى not حلوة as the former ends with a long vowel. The second one is written closer to "sweet" BTW in it's feminine form if the first sound /ح/ is proceeded with the short vowel /u/. Reading حلوة on the thumbnail of this clip confused me :)

And for the phrase to be more rhetorical, the word أم would be used instead of أو.

A modest participation by an Arab here :) contact me if you need any help.

    Cool glasses BTW :D

  • Ureed al 7alwah

  • hal tureed al halwa ow al khobs. I want both? Shukran =D

  • أريد الحلوة من فضلك :)

  • أنا أريد الخبز :)

  • i want the candy
