"#Coinci-Dink"

Adding her on Facebook was the first thing he did when she left, and he headed right to his rental. He display picture was a bit of a side-shot, with her turned his way. She was smiling brightly, and he couldn't help but smile as well.
Just as quickly as he requested, she accepted. He saw that her recent status update was only forty-eight seconds prior, and it read "#Coinci-Dink, not that I'm complaining. (;". He went ahead and liked it.
He went to his mom's house where he stayed for the time being, and changed into some swim trunks, a white tee, sandals with some sunglasses. With the bit of time he had, he browsed her pictures on her page through his laptop. He looked at her statuses, curious as to whether or not she had updated about him recently or anything. Doing nothing but killing time, he'd gone through twenty-four months' worth of statuses, and the only thing he could find was a video of Mindless Behavior in an interview where he was laughing at Ray Ray for popping his arm out of place. She had commented under it, "Boo's cute laugh. (;" He immediately assumed she meant his laugh and not Ray Ray's.
He drove out to Fort Desoto Beach using his phone's GPS system. And naturally, he looked for the only person he knew.
"Jacob!" Addie's voice called out for him.
He turned seeing Adeleah in the water about ankle-deep, hands on her hips, hair tied back and grinning. She had on a black bikini. She grinned. "Jelly?"
"Nah, I'm gravy." He laughed, jogging over to her. "But you are cute."
She stuck out her tongue, and his eyes widened at the silver shelled black gem on her tongue. "When did you get your tongue pierced?"
She stuck her tongue out farther and looked down at it, eyes crossing. "Oh, that. I got that for my sixteenth birthday. You no like?" She asked.
"No, it's nice. I just never thought you'd get one" he shrugged.
"Well, we change. We've both changed. You're famous. I'm spontaneous." She mirrored him, walking along the shoreline with him, her feet sinking into the mud. Every now and then she'd shuffle them around.
"I'm not famous.. I left the group, Addie." He reminded her.
"So? You look as good off stage as you do on stage. Just because you split from the group doesn't mean that any girl who recognizes you won't tackle you." She reasoned.
"Was your status about me?" he changed the topic.
"Yes it sure was." She smiled. "Like... I last saw you in LA, its pure coincidence that you end up in Saint Petersburg with me."
"Fate?" He offered, half-jokingly.
"Shut up." She rolled her eyes. "I believe in chance, not fate... We have a lot to catch up on, Jacob, but if you don't mind, can we just have some fun right now?" She smiled crookedly.
"Fun?" he asked.
She grabbed his arm and pulled him in, then kicked his knee in making him fall into the water. She ran away laughing. He had only fell to his knees, so he quickly recovered and ran to her catching her easily, picking her up and dropping her into the water, earning a high-pitched scream followed by a fit of giggles. "WAIT, don't get my hair wet Jacob, my hair dresser only flies in every two weeks!" she cried out.
"Should have thought of that before you tried to baptize me!" he shouted, throwing handfuls of water at her as she tried to scamper up and run.
There was suddenly a loud scream, and Jacob's arms were around her quickly and protectively. He watched as one of Adeleah's friends pointed into the water frantically. He pulled her out and watched as a large shark swam by harmlessly.
"It's a nurse shark." She said. "Must be lost. They usually travel in groups during the day. They don't eat people, so there really isn't anything to be afraid of."
"It's a shark! I'm not going to stand there trying to figure out what kind it is. When someone shoots at you, do you stand there trying to find out what kind of round they're firing?" he asked.
"Screw you." She scoffed.
"Mad?" he teased.
She pushed him into the water, and he skidded to a stop, searching for the shark before regaining composure and chasing after her again.
