Nitrogen, the main constituent of air, is the primary gas released during flatulence, along with carbon dioxide which is present in higher quantities in those who drink carbonated beverages regularly. The lesser component gases methane and hydrogen are flammable, and so flatus containing adequate amounts of these can be ignited.

I ve rated 5 stars but gotta point out a few things...the last fart was a 'wet one' that made a mess, and the reason for the finger, cuase hes used to jammin' it up his bum hole...thumb up if you agree
