Minecraft: Most Efficient Legit Hell Gate

If you think about it. Using a diamond pick-axe to rip up the materials then place them would take too much. Not only would it damage your diamond pick-axe but can be dangerous if you did it wrong. If you covered a lake/pond of lava with water to make the Obsidian and then hacked at it with a pick-axe chances are you'd lose your Obsidian with the lava below it and you might fall in. That and it just takes too damn long to lay the lava and hack at Obsidian. Here's my Cobble-Stone Mold i built underground below a pond and used the pond water as a pouring spout for my Obsidian. You could just grab a bucket of water and do this anywhere but it was in a perfect place and I decided to use it.

Why is it, that every single nether portal I see gets utterly spammed with torches?? I don't get it, every damn portal! XD

common?! that is better then i usualy do mine but i dont put torches around it.... just get 200 buckes of lava and then on top of it put glass

@GormathiusFilms lol I also do that, it keeps monsters away from the portal, so you don't get killed as soon as you come back from nether

@spongymode u can jump into the end portal after defeating the enderdragon, then press esc.
