Humans will have computers built into their bodies in the not-too-distant future according to a futurologist.
Robin Mannings, an ex-manager of BT's research department, claims that in the future we will become the technology ourselves.
Speaking at a VMware event in London, Mannings rated smartphones as the "coolest things on the street".
But soon we won't just be carrying technology, we'll be wearing it says Manning, such as advanced computing contact lenses.
Although it might not appeal to everyone, science is developing to allow computer parts to be built into our bodies.
Manning boldly claims "we are the computer... that is the future of evolution".
