  • My 9 month old has had an awesome schedule, in bed and asleep by 8 and only wakes up at 2 and then gets up at 7-730, goes down for a nap at 10, gets up at 11-1130 another nap at 2 gets up at 3-4 and all over for bed time. She has set it herself although we have been letting her fuss a little for a while. When she starts crying loudly I give her attention. Although she fusses when moving around in her sleep. She is a thumb sucker though so she knows how to soothe

  • @xoRamzadictox - That is awesome!! It's so important to get them to understand that sleep is their friend but it is SO hard to do sometimes!

  • Totally off topic .. You look sooo pretty in this video .. so pretty xoxo

  • @CrazyCoolShorty - Awww, thanks Dani!!

  • omg she is so smart for age awww she so cute:)

  • @yessy24xo - haha, thank you!! We think she's pretty smart too but of course, we are biased haha

  • I am DESPERATE for my almost 9 month old to sleep through the night. He wakes up about every 2 hours and I can't do it anymore. D=

  • How is it going? We're also not interested in crying it out, but our doctor is advising us to do so...

  • We will be starting this same process in the next month for our little girl who will be turning one of the 22nd of February. She currently sleeps with us and we are trying to get her to sleep in her crib, but as im putting her into the crib she wakes up and freaks out. I have tried patting her on the back/butt and saying shhhh (all those sleepy things) and just nothing seems to work so I end up picking her up....any suggestions?

  • Have you considered maybe just doing one long nap during the day? It might help her with the night bed time routine.

  • did she get a haircut??

  • Well done on the schedule - it sounds like you've found one that is working for you - they are hard work but if you stick to them babies get used to it pretty quickly.

    Willow is just super cute

  • This is great info Erin. I really REALLY need to get my little guy on a schedule. It's so hard with the other kids though.

  • Awwww pleased for you all, nice that it's going in a positive direction. Gosh look how grown up she is! So adorable :)

  • First thing Willow is such a cutie!! Second thing how did you get her to sleep in her crib? My daughter and I co sleep but she's 7 months old now an we really want the bed to ourselves again!! Haha thanx!!

  • I started my son on a schedule soon after he was born, and he slept through the night at 2 months, and has been on a schedule ever since. He will be 4 in may, and of course has gone through stages resisting bed time and wanted to sleep in our bed. I want to emphasize it was by no means a forced schedule, if you start early it just comes natural to them, a friend shared with me the importance of a schedule before he was born and I am so grateful! Good luck with your new routine :)
