its an unauthorized 1980 Italian sequel to the 1979 American film Alien written and directed by Ciro Ippolito. The plot has little connection to the original film.

1) Alien is directed by an english director, not american. The american Major only want ruin that movie cutting it everywhere.
2) The Alien's head, in the first one, was created by Carlo Rambaldi, Italian artist.
3) Even Aliens is Made by an not-american Director.
4) It's only by your american commercial Major if Alien3 sucks.
5) Your nation was discovered by an Italian.

@jackchrisdesbeattie You're totally right about AVP Requiem. They made it dark to conceal the flaws. I hate films that take place all at night and poorly lit cinematography sucks too.

I must say, this made me LOL a little bit. I had to watch that first part like 6 times before I realized that the chestburster was coming out of someone's face, if that was indeed what it was supposed to be. And if so, it is thus a faceburster. Did the makers of this movie watch anything other than the chestburster scene?
Everyone says there were tons of unauthorized italian sequels to american movies, but the only ones I've ever heard of are Zombie and this one. Anyone know any more?

One classic one was a film called SHOCKING DARK (1990) that they released as TERMINATOR 2 (despite the fact it ripped off ALIENS)!
They also did a quick-o sequel to PATRICK called PATRICK LIVES AGAIN.
