This was my first proper run in my Alpacka - 6 days and 80 miles from near Mallaig on the northwest coast, inland towards Rannoch Moor in August 2010. I paddled lochs and rivers where it was possible, easier or more fun than walking. All up the kit was 12kg + 8kg of pak-boating gear. For the full story see: http://apaddleinmypack.wordpress.com.
This was also my first try with a GoPro mini camera. The vid only covers the first 2 days when the battery packed up and as you'll see the audio suffers when it's inside the waterproof housing. I've since learned to take it out or SHOUT LOUDER!!
Great stuff Chris. I had a paddle in my Alpaca around the islands on Loch Morar earlier this year and loved it. Hoping to get back there soon and visit that bothy by packraft, too. Thanks for sharing your trip and happy rafting. These boats are great aren't they?

That's 2 of us in the UK then! And I know of 3 or 4 more. Could be a fair old trek to that bothy across the loch. I am halfway through making a sail from an old flip-out tent, similar to that shown by Martian74 on youtube (dont know how to link - he bought the proper thing).
A packboat and a Railcard sure opens up a lot of adventures - especially in Scotland. Have fun and post a vid of your own.
