Forget the head shake, what about the middle finger the court just jammed in everyone's ass?

The State of the Union has become a political pep rally, the Supreme Court shouldn't even waste its time attending. I'm glad Alito did that. He shouldn't be restrained while the hundreds of surrounding "representatives" join in the political bullshit.

Last time I checked "Big Labor" wasn't so big. Thanks largely to powerful corporations who are now free to secretly corrupt our elections with millions of $ to elect their shills to office who then implement laws designed to bust Unions.

If you think we live in a meritocracy your wrong. Wall St. bailout proved that. Our economy is a rigged game run by the rich for the rich everyone else are their pawns. Unions were one of the few counter balances to that power as were campaign finance laws.

The free market determines the cost of oil and steel which fluctuates depending on supply/demand. Big Labor demands more pay, benefits, vacation, seniority, continued employment for those deserving to be fired. By all means unions have a right to bargain, but management has the right to replace them with people who benefit the company and keep them competitive. Sad that you need to be educated on the free market that made this country great. Oh yeah, you were educated by unionized teachers......

You contradict yourself. One one hand you say management should have unlimited power to negotiate any factor in production, so why shouldn't labor also have that same right to negotiate with management over their compensation?

Why do you suddenly apply a double standard when it comes to labor cost? If the energy or steel prices increased would you curse oil or steel corporations for funneling $ to the GOP?

People like you just keep sawing off the branch your sitting on. Sad to watch.

You talk about "middle-class" like we live in a feudal society. You are what you make yourself. If your place in life is determined by your manual labor job and you need a union to protect you from losing that job, perhaps you're not worth what you're being paid in the first place. Enslave yourself to the union, just don't complain about your self-imposed income level

Big Labor absolutely does not stand for the interests of its' membership. Big Labor is a parasite using thuggery and bully tactics to funnel money to democrats and liberal activists. Unions bring nothing but apathy, laziness and contempt to the work environment. I worked for the largest domestic auto maker with one of the largest unions for over thirteen years. I watched as the union choked and crippled the competitiveness of the company, all the while demanding their "fair share".

Labor organizations represent the interests of millions of middle class working people.

Corporations represent a small elite ultra rich group of international business people who use $ manipulate Gov't to enrich themselves at everyone else's expense.

So middle class conservatives like you support corporate dominance over Gov't and middle class people then complain the middle class is getting a raw deal from corporations and Gov't. Hello?

There's no comparison here, the two are not equal.

With the radical right Supreme Courts decision on Montana deciding against the states own campaign finance law decided, that state's corruption will be limitless. The court really failed the state. The court is quite dumb for what they did.

Obama is pathetic...he'll praise them when they do something in his favor but openly chastise them when the fair majority rules against something they (the constitutional scholars) believe is unconstitutional
