poppies r really not hard to grow jus use loose soil and scatter seeds and keep watered until they get kinda big and they will grow like weeds without anything and dont use fertilizer it will kill them but they really r not hard to grow and they r soo beautiful when they bloom and they put off a sweet fragrance i think personally....

Are they a strong variety, as in morphine content?-They say the Afghan variety has a 14% yeild, which is used by the pharmaceutical industry

The droop is natural. They do that just prior to blooming.
