I was very fortunate to be Don's producer, Cuzin Dave, when he came over to CHFI in 1987.
I have the complete first and second show, Dec 1st and 2nd, 1987 on tape and have digitized it. Don is the best and one of my greatest mentors. A great treat for me was to give him a copy of his first and second shows when I visited him last summer.

Actually in december of '87 CHFI wanted Don to be at the santa claus parade but CKFM didn't want him to do it because his contract hadn't been expired yet.

I think this commercial was done in 1987 due to the fact DD joined Chfi in that year from Ckfm

Nostalgic! I grew up listening to CHFI when Don Daynard and Erin Davis was still around.
Erin Davis still works for CHFI today.
