MY ADVICE: STAY AWAY FROM TIMESHARE AS FAR AS YOU CAN. Their tactics are a form of mindcontrol (neuro-linguistic programming for example). I've been offered many times to work in timeshare... I would do great I'm sure and I could earn up to 100.000 bucks a year quite easy.
But who wants to sell his soul to the devil? Not me. Also the whole business is filled with drugs, prostitution, theft and other criminal activities. NASTY nasty

I've lived and worked in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for 2 years. Dealing with tens of tourists a day I've come accross satisfied timeshare customers. Most of them were people with loads of money who are able to pay for it. Not all timeshare owners where unsatisfied. BUT... A BIG BUT...
THIS BUSINESS IS FFING NASTY! Many of my direct colleagues and close friends who worked in timeshare business have given me insights in the way they operate. FILTHY! MY ADVICE: DON'T EVEN GO A PRESENTATION.

Timeshares aren't for poor people who want to save a buck . They are for people who want luxury without the hassles and costs of owning a second home . They are not an investment nor a scam . It is real estate that has been marked up by 300 % to cover their costs and make a healthy profit . Example : Condo with amenities cost 250k to build , they will sell 52 weeks for about 20k each for a total of around 1 million . After their expenses they make a 200-300k profit per unit .

I almost feel like taking a gun to my head, like my son might have, for being an idiot and letting Wyndham not only scam me once, but twice. They are ruining our credit and the only way out might be to commit suicide so my husband can collect my life insurance and pay off this timeshare and have money for all the other fees they keep adding. At least I'll go to heaven, not like that scumbag, $2,423,341.00 compensated CEO of Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Franz Hanning!

Stay away from Timeshares!! They are too expensive, have too many hidden fee's, time restrictions, and don't offer enough flexibility for it's Timeshare owners.. Instead, buy an Exclusive Lifetime Vacation Club Membership for a ONE-TIME FEE.. For detailed info, check out my videos!

200 bucks for an annual maintenance fee?? More like $600! And they can charge assessment fees any time they want, can increase the maintenance fees, and while yes, you can pass them on to your kids ( you may have no choice in the matter), you are also passing on the maintenance and assessment fees to them!
Timeshares are a major waste and the schemes are usually for the rich. No average individual can pay maintenance, yearly fees and so on. It is better to rent a room for a week, negotiate the price with the manager, and choose wisely.
Most time share companies make it seem like an investment. Which it's just a way for the hotel chain to collect money when the room is not used. It's like you pay money for an empty apartment and only use it according to the contract. which can vary. Major waste.

I love going to timeshare promo's. Take their gifts and run. Don't buy into the promise, they are selling nothing but 'air' and what they sell you and what you get are 2 different things. For the initial price and monthly fees you could bank the initial money and use the interest and principle to pay for vacations the rest of your life. What happens right before the TS expires? You get a bill for 'refurbishing' that's huge and in your contract. Save your money.
