why is boxing day after christmas i think it should be before caus the shopping would be less pricy and the stores will get ride of lots of stuf... its weird :/

Im Curious! Do they open stores at midnight on boxing day like the do on black friday??? Me and my mom went to wal-mart at like 10:30 to get in line for a tv. The sale started at midnight. We thought we were 8th in line because the ticket to buy the tv had a big 8 on it. But as the line started moving we looked around the isles and we were deffenetly not 8th in line! Lol! But im still not sure why the ticket had an 8 on it? But it was still a fun experiance shopping at midnight.
