The Girl Next Door (A Jonas Brothers School Series) Episode 10

Joe pulled up to Jen's house, got out of the car and opened the door for her again.

Jen: Wow, I feel like a princess with all this courtesy. I like it
Joe: Well, you deserve to be treated like a princess. Especially since you're a pretty girl
Jen: (blushing) Thank you Joe
Joe: You're welcome (picking up her bag and putting it on his shoulder while giving her a flirty smile)
Jen: What are you planning on doing?
Joe: You said you liked feeling like a princess, so im gonna make you feel even more like a princess, here put your hand on my shoulder
Jen: Ok? But how does that make me feel like a princess?
Joe: That doesnt, but this might, hold on to me ok? Dont let go
Jen: Ok, i wont let go of you
Joe: Good

He slid one arm around her waist and the other under her knees, lifted her off the ground and held her in his arms like a groom would carry his new bride. He felt his heart start thumping as he brought her closer.

Joe: Hows that?
Jen: (smiling and blushing a deep pink) Perfect
Joe: (letting his forehead touch hers)
Jen: Um, Joe
Joe: Ya?
Jen: Not that I dont like this or anything but, we're still in the driveway and people are driving by
Joe: (quickly pulling away from her) Right uh, wow this is awkward (gently setting her down)
Jen: (laughing) Its ok, I didnt think so
Joe: (grinning) Me either
Jen: (smiling) So, you wanna go inside?
Joe: Sure, I'll take your stuff for you
Jen: (biting her bottom lip as she went up to the front door with Joe right behind her)
Joe: (walking in the door) Nice place
Jen: Thanks, its still alittle messy from when we moved in but....its alot better than it was
Joe: Haha, its ok, I dont mind a mess, trust me my room is a heck of alot worse
Jen: Ok I dont feel bad anymore then (laughing)
Joe: So where do you want this (refferring to her school bag)
Jen: Oh here I'll take it to my room, you can turn on the TV if you want, I'll be right back
Joe: Ok
Jen: (walking upstairs and into her room)
Joe: (after Jen couldnt hear him) Gosh Joe you're such an idiot! She's gonna get the wrong impression if you keep flirting with her non stop and never ask her out. Just ask her! Ask the most beautiful girl in the world to be yours, ya thats a not a hard thing to do at all. I mean c'mon what was that in the driveway! Why did I do that! Oh I know, because im in love with her and I cant help myself, she's just so.....perfect.
Jen: (coming back downstairs) Ok, im back. Miss me?
Joe: You bet I did
Jen: (noticing him flipping through the channels on the TV) Nothing good huh?
Joe: Not really, I dont really watch that much TV
Jen: (sitting down beside him) Me either, im always so busy with schoolwork and stuff
Joe: Ya same here, they give us way to much work to do at home, its ridiculous
Jen: I know right
*Awkward silence*
Jen: Um, do you wanna watch a movie or something?
Joe: Sure, whatcha got?
Jen: (pulling up a box full of their DVD's that had yet to be unpacked) See if you can find something, I dont care what you pick, I like all those movies
Joe: (looking through the large variety of movies and finally settling for a nice comedy movie) How bout this one?
Jen: One of my favorites
Joe: Mine too!
Jen: Really! Thats cool
Joe: (smiling as he got up to put the movie in)
Jen: (yawning alittle) Gosh im tired, never knew a first day at a new school could be so tiring
Joe: (sitting back down next to her) Ya that school is very very hectic
Jen: As I now know
Joe: I wish we could go back to summer, when all we did was hang out at the beach
Jen: Oh and dont forget how we rode that rollercoaster until we almost threw up
Joe: After eating just about the biggest meal of my life
Jen: (laughing) Im sorry but that was funny
Joe: Hey you wouldnt be laughing if I'd gotten sick on you
Jen: You wouldnt do that!
Joe: You're right I probably wouldnt, you're too pretty to get sick on
Jen: (blushing and giving him a hug)
Joe: (in his head) C'mon do something! Ask her!! No wait better yet, kiss her! Kiss her right now! You've been wanting to ever since you met her! And thats been 2 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days ago. 77 days Joe! You've known her 77 days! Wow Im dork for keeping up with that.
Jen: (in her head) Why wont you just ask! Just to see how he feels? Oh Jen who are you kidding? He's the school hottie, you dont stand a chance, no matter how awesome the summer was with him. His ex will be hanging around and trying to get him back every moment she gets, so why bother. Ugh but I wanna be with him, I like him. Wait, correction, I love him. Why is this so hard?
