This is the new longer updated version as of 4/28/10. Enjoy the excitement as the train travels on a wonderful trip to the North Pole..... Best enjoyed by those who "truly believe".
The layout measures 4'x13' and is built in three sections to facilitate setting up at shows. Trailer wiring harnesses connect the sections. Two inch thick styrofoam was used as the structural surface material. Plastic downspouts serve well as removable legs
Note: Sincere apologies to "Scoot" for omitting his name in the credits as "The new low man on the totem pole".

  • I love the layout could you tell where you got the tree with santa flying around please

  • @randazzojl I think the Santa is a Lemax but we had to extend the shaft to make it taller. The tree is hand built from garland wrapped around around a wire frame an then covered with three strings of 100 bulb Christmas tree lights to total 300 lights

  • YOU'RE MISSING THE FLAT-TOP TUNNEL!!

  • @bowser5678

Flat top tunnel is on the agenda :-)

  • Engines are doubleheaded to help with the "disappearing act"... :-)

  • its a modification of a Lionel dealer layout form the 50's

  • @MrTimb56

and quite a challenge to build and operate :-)
