Why would there be anyone complaining about animal abuse? I didn't see anything abusive here. If it's killed humanely, quickly and with a bit of dignity then that's perfectly acceptable in my books. People seem to forget about the middle-man when they buy a leg of lamb or a roll of rump from the butcher at a supermarket. There's nothing more satisfying than providing your own meal, be it hunting or fishing.

@000Sherwood000 I left the meat sit in the brine for about 8 hours in the fridge. I prepared the meat that morning and in the evening I cooked it.
