Sinjin the Panama Amazon Parrot

The latest addition to our flock: Sinjin a 13-year-old Panama Amazon. His previous owner loves him very much and has raised him to be a very sweet, happy and well-behaved bird. Sadly, due to health issues, she can no longer give him the attention he needs (which accounts for the slight plucking on his chest) and asked me if I was willing to take him. Elvis and Fabian (my cockatiels) are absolutely fascinated by him and Elvis wants to make friends SO BADLY. I don't let them mingle though, because Sinjin is used to being an only bird and tends to be the jealous type. We'll see if that changes over time. He is adapting amazingly well - far better than expected - and I am getting attached fast! And yes, he eats at the table with his perch on a chair. He's quite tidy about it too.
