It isn't so much about carbon-nutralising events (although, it's better than nothing). There's also the cost of building the 23 Boats, the tens-of-thousands of litres of Diesel being used, etc, etc... Nice start, but we probably need to start "double-carbon-nuetraling" all events and not just "nuetral"ising our immediate effects?
