@BambixProductions because its an illuminati hidden message.they wanted it to seem like an accident but thats the way the royal families in europe keep the power in the families.

@ChristIsSaviour12 Look at the Bible. Eve was made from Adam so is that not incest. And if we are all descended from them then their children must have commited incest. Look at Noah. He only saved his family after the flood. So they must have commited incest. Think before you speak you ignorant fool. There is no hell for anyone to go to. No satan. Just myths created by the church to scare people into converting. I know your religion better than you do & I dont even follow it.

@BambixProductions The reason Viviane & the Merlin had Arthur & Morgaine bed was so that a child would be born. A child born both of the old Royal Line of Avalon & the blood of the Pendragon. They did this in case Arthur betrayed his oath to Avalon, which he did. They foresaw that Gwen would bare Arthur no children. By the old law the sister's son was the natural heir. They wanted a king who would rule from Avalon and not the priests. But Morgause tainted and twisted Mordred so he became evil.

Ok maybe there is something i don't understand. WHY did vivian and merlin want the siblings to commit incest?
-
OK for one, they did not knowingly commit incest, 2 it was all pre-planned w/o their knowledge, 3, many "christian" monarchs have knowingly committed incest to keep the bloodlines blue. The only reason you are even commenting on this is because the act was done by another religion. If you want to go historical, look at the world before Christianity then after and compare how much war and death caused by religion there has been. Hello....... The crusades, etc. STFU and watch the movie, or...DONT

@MisterMojoJojojo: Like I said in a comment to part 6, brother-sister incest was often frowned upon even before Christianity was around, especially if the two had the same mother. So it's not "a Christian thing".
@TheWitchWay I am another ignorant christian. A bible thumper. Please let us lay aside our differences. You embrace one way and I embrace another. This is a wonderful movie and I enjoy the tales of Arthur. No more insults on either side because forcing opinions never accomplished anything back then and it won't now. Fellow Christians please show the love of Christ and don't click these links just to argue. Old followers don't let these remarks get you. Let them yell at air. I like this movie :)
