Guy Gal of Toronto-based online video production house TheBizMedia held a cocktail-party gathering of Toronto's digital/social media marketing types. One of the highlights was Scott "Unmarketing" Stratten's speech in which he talked about some of the lessons he learned as an online marketer.
This video is a five-minute snippet of that speech where he talked about collecting user information on sites (he says that first name and email are often enough), how to get more people to take your surveys, what he thinks of auto-DM replies on Twitter and authenticity.
You might want to turn up the volume for this one. I shot it with a teensy Mino Flip HD, and the mic on it could stand to be a little better.
