Most christians do NOT practice the true teachings of jesus christ. They emphasize too much on POWER and AUTHORITY rather than PEACE and FORGIVENESS.

And if you read the new testament jesus seems to rebel against the organized religious people of that day whose bible WAS THE OLD TESTAMENT. So it was the people of THE OLD TESTAMENT WHO SET OUT AGAINST HIM Well in my opinion can't be proven. Its also my theory that christ wasn't killed for our sins but was killed for telling the truth about god and after that the good old church set out to pervert and twist and DESTROY HIS CAUSE AND RELIGION. So most likely our current bibles are bullshit.

Now I wish religious people would think outside the box for once. That verse is taking wrong. Jesus meant that his coming and his testimony of the true word of god is not going to create peace between people and is going to set the established order against itself because according to the bible Jesus is the truth and the system is a big LIE. Most Christians say things that sound nice and loveing, but Do things are not nice and loveing! look at Christians in power! they Kill bomb, they kill innocent people! Interesting the video begins by ripping passages out of context. Those sayings of Jesus are metaphorical in nature, not deliberate commands to war. Nowhere does Jesus tell His followers to kill. Rather He tells them to put away the sword since His Kingdom is not of this world. He even forgives His killers fm the Cross.
