I really really love this tone chunky and fat but i just noticed that gets buried in the mix with the other instruments like Rex from Pantera... anyway..! it's nice isn't it?

The boss ODB3 is great for this kind of sound.
1st get a nice punchy bass sound ( lots of treble, new strings too would help)
2nd add the Boss ODB-3
Level- 12 o'clock
Bass - 4 o'clock
Treble - 1 o'clock
Balance - 9 o'clock
Gain - 8 o'clock ( A tiny tiny amount)
That gets you Robs sound!!!
