Hey there! I've made a paper clay mask with padding and a hinge/skullcap to handle jaw movement for my character (video of me dancing with it in channel) I'm interested in re-doing this and making it silicon for comfort, durability, and weight reasons. I've gone ahead and gotten some clay and an armature to develop the initial sculpt so I'm a ways off of completing this. My question is: how did you handle pouring/cutting the mouth for that long snout and what did you use to allow it to open?
