UPLAND, Ind. -- Kayla Drake led a balanced University of Saint Francis offensive for an 80-64 win at Taylor University on Tuesday night.
Drake scored 24 points in the Lady Cougars' second win in four Mid-Central College Conference games this season. Kayla Mullins added 17 points, Amanda Pedro 12 and Myqueisha Bratton produced a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
USF improved to 11-6 overall, 2-2 in MCC play. TU slipped to 11-5 overall, 1-3 in MCC competition.
The Lady Cougars led 35-28 at halftime.
USF resumes play on Thursday at Hutzell Athletic Center at 7 p.m. against 10th-ranked Bethel College.
