cold day out:
- quick camp setup
- tea
- traditional cooking: boil 1 cup of water + pinch of salt, add 1 cup corn flour, stirr until desired consistency (it gets progresively harder). remove from the fire, make a hole in it, fill with cheese+butter, close and form a ball (CAUTION! IT IS EXTREMELY HOT!). put on the hot coals until a crust is formed, then flip over. done! it should be crunchy outside and soft inside. serve with sour cream topping (if available).
- siesta! (short nap) :)

  • Great video, man!

We do something similar here on camp outs, but we use buttermilk biscuit batter instead of corn batter, and we stuff it with ham and cheddar cheese. We also put aluminum foil on the coals so it doesn't get dirty!
