M1A1-NXT Abrams Tank

This is my Lego NXT Abrams Tank replica, it uses a compass sensor to tell it where the turret is in relation to its body, so it can face forward again.

It will roam autonomously around the room and the The cannon will fire when it hears me say fire.

This was programmed using NXT however it dies need a lot more work doing to the programming.

woohoo! thats wikid! im gona make a tank soon modelled on the WWI MK 4 tank. i have the old techinc treads though, &i see you have the new 1s that come with the bulldozer kit. did u get the BD kit, or did you buy them from lego education? or even the snowmobile set?anyway, when i get around to making my tank, i will post some info on it on my website:
