  • @benjaminburgess07 Well, yea, it is Michael's last name, and aesthetically speaking, yes Gungor is horrible. But that's what gives it appeal to me, the fact that the name sounds more like a metal band than CCM. It makes them stand out in my mind and is a reminder that christianity isn't always aesthetically apealing. A lot of times you have to look a little deeper, you have to scratch the surface and see what's underneath :-D

  • Such BEAUTIFUL music. ♥♥♥ God bless!:)

  • @TathianaJ perhaps it's not that their hearts are hard. one song may not speak to everyone in the same way. sometimes, it requires several other ways for God to speak through to someone, not necessarily just one particular song.

  • I can't even explain the powerful emotional response this song triggers within me. I have never listened to anything that has made me feel so vulnerable, yet so safe in the arms of the Lord at the same time.

  • @skinnytheskinner what song are you talking about by Shane & Shane? I'd love to hear it!

  • May God have mercy on the three people that disliked this song I pray that He will speak to their hearts and unharden them.

  • wish more bands did musically intricate instrumentals like these guys do

  • If Explosions in the Sky made worship music, this would be it.

  • @kwgthacher Shane & Shane have a song similar to this one, in the way that they sing the song, and then have an interlude with some of the same melodies, but more intricacy and depth. Instead of putting the interlude on the end of the song, they actually have it as two songs, and there is a break in between. Just think of the second part as another song, but with an upside; there's no chance of not getting the second part when your iPod is on shuffle. :-)

    Love in Christ,

    Skinny

  • @kwgthacher

I actually like the fact that the rest is "boring". It's a simple cry out. And then the tag is like a musical expression of that. It's a really nice contrast, in my opinion.

  • I Love This Song I Listen To It Nonstop.
