@gdoddmeta3608 "Those backup singers are too 'trained'." What the hell is wrong with you, other than your reverence for BW as a god? I LOVE The Beach Boys, but NO musician merits adulation like that. Gazing at a photo of Brian every morning? Wow. Anyway, these singers are what made me really take notice here, not so much Beck. He's great, but I don't start my day by adoring his picture. These vocals are mystical -- thoroughly in accord with trademark BW perfectionism. Surf's Up!

Dear Jeff, I appreciate your influence on music and your inimitable guitar playing style. I also appreciate the fact that you have taken time to pay tribute to Brian Wilson in this unique and reigned in fashion. However, and forgive me for being blunt, but please could you find it in your heart to PUT SOME FUCKING LONG SLEEVES ON FOR ONCE. Its like they've grafted Ronnie Woods turkey wottle face flaps on to your arms..

I think the guitar playing is a little too "show-offy" (especially in the tag) to suit the mood of the melancholy and apocalyptic Surf's Up.

you all know nothing. this is a tribute to Brian Wilson not a celebration of Jeff Beck. he is honoring the writer of the notes. I think it is a wonderful interpretation, if you know the words as well as I do to this song, then his guitar seemingly sings the words not just guitar music. show some class and manners as one great pays tribute to another. you all suck your negativity sucks.
