  • When he plays he looks at his feet like his been naughty lol.

Pretty good lesson, well broken down.

  • Thanks! I'm not looking at my feet though, I'm reading the lyrics. :)

  • Can you explain that lick around the 7:53 minute? Which strings and which frets?

    BTW, GREAT VID!

  • Thanks! That little bass part is:

    D: open D string

E: second fret on the D string

    D: open D string

B: second fret on the A string

Then, go back into the verse with a C chord. I hope that helps!

  • Thanks a lot Rob !

I learned to play this song months ago BUT it sounded 'stiff'.

Good thing you explained the "fancier" moves to make it all sound better. A Lot Better!

    Keep posting.

  • I'm glad I could help! I'll post more videos soon.

  • great lesson, i'm on it.

  • whats the strumming please? :D

  • u r a cool and helpful person. I would like to toss your salad, if u don't mind. Just kidding, great tutorial. Keep up the good work.

  • @DeemBrittyGirl its just a small deviation on the c cord, you could lift the top finger on the d string and it would make no difference in the sound because the pinky finger is fretting below it. This just simplifies it by not having to move the finger that was first on the d string. I hope that helps

  • bottom string need tuning

  • @DeemBrittyGirl its just an enhancement deem...

  • good job rob.... u teach damn good bro...

  • @DeemBrittyGirl o it's actually pretty common when adding a passing note. You wouldn't have time or any reason to move the first finger since you are not staying on the same chrord.

  • There's one thing I can't understand...the intro.

You play Cmajor, then C9, you say you only change the position of your pinky. You place it on the b string, third fret..BUT..you've already got your first finger on the b string first fret....So you you have two fingers on the same string, but on the different positions...that doesn't make any sense!

  • thank you rob.
