To celebrate the paperback publication of her new collection of stories, The Thing Around Your Neck, Orange Prize winner Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie talks to FifthEstate about what inspires her to write, the fateful coincidence of her childhood house and the books she read that changed the whole direction of her fiction.
Very well produced, unfussy video. Chimamanda is is one of the few writers I've come across who, I would say, deserves to be read by everyone; her sly wit is compelling (and maybe sometimes overlooked?).
