@WitsEndCreations Thanks! I've been spinning for years, and have no desire, whatsoever, for a wheel. You don't have to save up for a wheel.... however, this spinning/plying technique needs for you to be a pretty good spinner, it's not really for brand new spinners.
The link for the first video is in the notes, under the video. Enjoy!

sooo impressed--while saving up for a wheel, i think i want to try this, just to get the wool in my hands!! LOL you mentioned something in this video about another video you made of how to "start" a spindle? where can i find that to watch?
-
@Alexus1325 Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy your new spindle!

Considering I only just ordered my first spindle, this video is SUPER helpful! I can hardly wait til my spindle arrives :D
Thanks for sharing this technique! Before, I didn't enjoy fiddling with plying on a spindle, with all the rewinding required before plying. Plus you never end up with the same lengths for each single, and some singles end up more relaxed than others, because some have rested a lot more.
With this ply-on-the-fly technique, the yarn is freshly plied after spinning the singles, and you always have the perfect length of singles to ply together!
Brilliant! Thanks again!

@Longhairagnes Thanks! You've made my day! My goal is to help others learn how to enjoy plying, something that I always detested, until I learned this method.
