@Lulzalutioners well i was more talking about finding out more info about what its like to become one. because I have been teasing the idea in my mind for a while. but that is hard when everyone is calling each other names in the comments.

@BlueGama600 I'd just like to add, you will be surrounded by French, you will fear not learning french because if you do not you are not allowed into the legion, you will take orders and communicate in french, it is not school, you are not required to turn in assignment because you will always be in the classroom. So you hardly need to worry about it.

@foolecoole Yes, I agree, it's extremely unsettling to see the amount of sheer stupidity and testosterone in these aspiring legionaries. Perhaps it's the video content that gets us so excited but the plethora of "Legio patria nostra" and the likes put me off from the French Foreign Legion.

My two cents. The United States Air Force was established in 1947. The United States Army had the Army Air Corps from 1926 to 1941 then changed to the Army Air Forces from 1941 to 1947. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to this day the United States Army still have more aircraft and more watercraft than the United States Air Force and Navy.
