Cancelling AOL (to music)

Vinny Ferrarri tries to cancel his AOL. But John (a call center rep employed by AOL's subcontractor) decides he'll play tuff guy. Happy ending? Vinny has no more AOL and John got fired.

based on there costumer service i can see why. you should never have to explain why you want to cancel and account, i would have talked to a superviser, its fine to ask why your canceling but if they dont want to explain then o well. the rep should have never spoken to him like that ever! i would have spoken to his boss

LOL I worked in the cancellations dpt at AOL. We were trained that if the customer said CANCEL 3 times, you just cancelled the accnt. This guy is a moron! (the worker, not the caller)

its more of a salesmen thing like ive worked telemarketing and thats how your supposed to handle someone canceling service, the aol guy did take it a little far by telling him he had to listen to him i think at that point it was more of an ego thing.

@albigjino - yes, but guess who gets paid more? That's right, the boss... Wouldn't you rather piss away more of AOLs money if they will treat you like that? Perhaps if you waist the managers time they will figure out this is not the way to do things.

You can also simply say I refuse to answer questions this is your notification I want the account canceled, I will not pay for any more of this service. And if they still give you a hard time, just hang up. Dont worry, the conversation is recorded.
