Is it my impression, or even the PW4000 for 777s are less noisy than the GE-90 and RR engines for 777?

@praetorian2150 You couldnt have said it any better, I dont like Rolls or GE engines, they just dont sound butch like the PW, Glad UA went with the pratts!

Nothing beats the sound of the R-2800 radial they made back in the 40's although performance wise they are a far cry from the 100, 000 + lbs of thrust those PW4000 series make
