See my story on buidling your own backyard habitat at: http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-13344-Wildlife-Conservation-Examiner~y2009..., or at http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/3738770-build-your-own-backyard-wil...

These little guys are active and pretty and eat mosquito larva. This little pond attracts frogs, salamanders, newts, dragonflies, butterflies, birds and more.

  • cool, how big is your pond? Also, how many guppies do you have?

  • This is just a small pond and the number of guppies varies (they keep having babies!) They have to come in in the fall, however, because they can't take cold water. They get to go play outside again next spring!
