Killing Joke was recommended to me as being "good" back in the Eighties but, like Siouxsie Sioux similarly recommended, I only caught up with them by way of review of music of the era of my youth and a general increase of awareness of that which underlies such and much more, to my pleasant surprise.

I first heard Killing Joke in '94 - Millenium was on the radio. At first I thought it was Motorhead (sounded like Lemmy). When I found out who it was, I bought the Pandemonium CD - been a fan of them ever since. Sad thing is, I never listened to their back catalog until I a couple months before seeing them them live last year. I always thought their pre-Pandemonium music was like Pantera's pre-Cowboys From Hell...just not worth listening to. Damn, was I wrong! BTW, best concert ever!
