On the evening of January 6,
Erik Christensen of TransitWeather.com was on
his way home from work in Crystal lake Illinois around
10:30p. A 2001 Nissan Maxima driven by a young
man from Woodstock lost control a quarter of a mile
west of Briarwood Ln along HWY-176, sliding into
the westbound lane and striking Erik's 1994 Plymouth Voyager
in a offset crash. The front of the van was destoyed as
well as the backend of the Maxima.
Erik escaped with no injuries, the driver of the Maxima
was arrested and his passenger was assumed to have
sustained some injuries during the crash.
The driver of the Maxima ( I will be nice and not mention his name) was charged with the following on January 7, (as per public report of the NorthWest Herald)...
- Driving under the influence.
- Driving with a blood alcohol level above .08.
- Driving with a suspended license.
- Driving without Insurance.
- Driving to fast for conditions.
- Driving with expired registration.

People are dumb, if they would learn how to drive many good cars would still be on the road instead of in junkyards.
