Vessels of Wrath or Mercy? (Election Part 2) - The Jesus Trip

This week, John Crowder continues with the second installment of his teaching on election in Romans 9-11. John picks up on the continued question of God's fairness in hardening/blinding certain "vessels of wrath." John explains how God's seeming rejection of some is only a temporary "in part" hardening aimed at ultimately showing mercy. While we often see vessels of mercy and wrath as two separate individuals (such as Jacob vs. Esau) - John explains that everyone is a vessel of wrath in Adam - and likewise everyone is a vessel of mercy in Christ. Esau and Jacob have, as their ultimate meaning, the old and new man. All have been Esau - and whether they know it or not - all carry the seed of Jacob.
