@epiphyticsab Yes, you're right, I DO know nothing about magic, which is what makes this trick even worse! It is BLATANTLY obvious so I would not be "grac[ing you] with [my] knowledge". It is obvious that the lid was only a frame and not a full lid. It's actually ridiculously obvious and therefore completely unimpressive. So there, does that open your eyes at all?

@VeggieVamp but we can be sure someone is singing badly when you hear them. we can only guess if this is the correct method. oh well i enjoyed the trick and ive been performing magic for 27 years now. still enjoy the stage stuff as i only perform close up. haha i get ppl ask me to go on this show all the time tho dont ever think close up woould work on this show.

@rizladizla I'm sorry but to be honest, I wouldn't call that a good analogy... It really doesn't correlate well at all. Of course everyone knows how people sing, but the whole point of magic is being astounded by the unknown, the point of singing is to listen to something pleasing. So a better analogy would be to compare this to someone singing very badly.

@Kris0203 No, there is a cover, but it's only locked on the front, you can open it like a door turning on one side. The black straps come from the cover, not from all the way back.
