during her formative years she was influenced by Ustaad Salamat Ali Khan. Tatti roo roo main vaat nehaaran almost always makes me cry and it is natural for some of us to be impacted by a lady singing this kafi as Sassi is a female character yearning for punoo who was clearly oblivious of her predicament, her trails and tribulations till it was really too late
